HySiLabs has developed a technology that maintains the advantages of a liquid fuel, without generating emissions. It consists of a hydrogen-based liquid fuel system that releases hydrogen on-demand and consumes it directly for a wide range of applications.
By using renewable energy sources to produce the fuel and centralizing its synthesis, HySiLabs introduces a unique and efficient power-to-liquid solution and a means for long-term renewable energy storage. The fuel is then distributed and hydrogen is produced on-site with no energy input required, drastically reducing the installation and operating costs.
Due to its stable liquid and non-explosive nature, the HySiLabs fuel is easily transported and stored at standard conditions while employing well-known liquid-handling logistics and already-existing infrastructure. Since its handling is similar to that of conventional liquid fuels, the mass-scale deployment of HySiLabs technology is quick and straightforward.

HySiLabs technology can facilitate the large-scale deployment of hydrogen refueling stations for the next generation of clean vehicles by serving as a liquid hydrogen carrier, perfectly suited for supplying a large network of stations. In addition, when paired with a fuel cell, the technology is well-adapted for a wide range of applications, from nomadic to stationary, enabling an easy transition to emission-free systems.
